Ways to help the Planet
Pollution:
“An unwanted change in the environment which involves the physical, biological and chemical changes involving air, water and land which affects the human life in one way or the other”.
How we are polluting our own Planet?
Pollution has become a serious issue after World War II in developing countries due to unchecked rapid industrialization. Pollution is the root cause of many diseases that kill and disable living organisms. We are polluting it by producing different types of pollution. Every day we are throw the waste of our household and so does the industries and do you know where those wastage are thrown? Well they throw it away in the water. All those heavy metals, Sewage, Radioactive waste, Detergents, Chloroform, Food processing waste has caused water pollution.
Types of Pollution:
Of course there are different types of air pollution like air pollution, water pollution, land pollution, noise pollution, and many more. The fact that everything we do or we can say we use are the cause of pollution which is rather scary. The gas which comes out through household combustion devices, motor vehicles, industrial facilities and forest flies which includes particular materials like carbon monoxide, ozone, nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide are affecting the air as a result we are risking our environment and as well as our life.
Global warming:
It is caused due to the rise of average temperature of earth’s atmosphere and the oceans. The greenhouse effect is one of the causes that change the earth’s climate due to which the temperature rises because the sun’s heat and light is trapped in the earth’s atmosphere. The heat and light can get through the atmosphere, but it can’t get out. As a result, the temperature rises.
There is no single solution to global warming which is primarily a problem of too much heat-trapping carbondioxide (CO2), methane and nitrousoxide in the atmosphere. The technologies and approaches outlined below are the needed to bring down the emissions of these gases by at least 80% by mid-century.

The technologies and approaches outlined below are the needed to bring down the emissions of these gases by at least 80% by mid-century.
Causes:
- The effect of greenhouse gases (GHGs) emitted by humans cause Global warming. Several greenhouse gases responsible for warming, and humans emit them in a variety of ways. Most come from the combustion of fossil fuels in cars, factories and electricity production.
- The gas responsible for the most warming is carbon dioxide, also called CO2. Other gases, such as chlorofluorocarbons (which have been banned in much of the world because they also degrade the ozone layer).
- Deforestation: Another thing that makes global warming worse is when people cut down trees. Trees and other plants collect carbon dioxide (CO2), which is a greenhouse gas.
Effects of all these things:
Makes the sea rise: the water covers many low land islands, the plants and causes some of them to die so, the animals lose a source of food, along with their habitat, but people lose two sources of food, plant food and animal food.
Radiative energy reflected back to earth.
Melting polar ice caps.
Decrease of rainfall in some parts of the world.
Global warming change the direction of the win.
Solutions and measures:
Is there ways to control air pollution you may ask well the answer is yes!!
• Maintaining a healthy distance between the industrial and residential areas.
• The chimneys should be constructed tall in size so that the emissions must be released higher up in the environment
• The sulphur must be removed after burning and the gasoline must have anti knocking agents.
• The mining area should be planted with trees.
• The coal fuel should be replaced with gas fuel to control the air pollution.
• The automobiles must be designed with emission control system.
• The wastes must be removed and recycled in the industrial plants and refineries.
• Plants like pine and ribs need to be planted to metabolize the nitrogen oxides and other pollutants.
• Conserve water by turning off the tap.
• Mind what you throw down your sink or toilet.
• Don’t throw paints and oils in water channels.
• Use environment friendly household products, such as washing powder, household cleaning agents etc.
• Take great care not to overuse pesticides and fertilizers.
• Don’t throw litter into rivers, lakes or oceans. Help clean up any litter you see on beaches or in rivers and lakes, make sure it is safe to collect the litter and put it in a nearby dustbin.
• We can control global warming by reducing the emission of greenhouse gases.
• By reducing deforestation.
There is a lot to DO!!
